I used to enjoy watching it, but all the fake trash talking makes it like a soap opera

it was good at first but then everybody started using mixed arts, and Brazilian jujitsu so now its just trepetitive its always 20 seconds standing take down 1:20 min trying to get a submission its not fun anymore!!

I liked it before cause you got to see different martial arts head on....one competitor would know karate while the other wold know taek kwon do so things got interesting

B I totally agree with you. But honestly, I just watch the fighteres I love and say poop on the rest.

Pat - I never get all amped over trash talk and find it annoying, too. Especially when the guys are crying and kissing after the fight LMAO

Eh UFC is cool but i agree MMA gets boring as everyone just uses knees and kicks and submissions rather than toe to toe fights..

Which is why I prefer good ol boxing. Anyone catch the pacquiao fight? Amazing he dismantled Ricky Hatton worse than he did De La Hoya whos next? Mayweather is going to have a hard time with Marquez so im hoping whoever wins makes it entertaining at least because their next fight will end just as it did for hatton.

For those who didnt see it watch this fight trust me truly amazing and under 5 minutes so not a waste of time

I guess that by toe to toe he means striking matches, standing up, thorwing kicks and punches

I meant toe to toe as in face to face straight sluggin but ye i guess kicks were alright if it was kickboxing but i think being able to fight with just fists is more fair see whos really the better fighter

It all depends... the better fighter/martial art isnt necessary the strongest its the one that best adapts to the moment/rules... personally I think cqc and krav maga are the strongest ones right now... except their full arsenal is only used when you are allowed to kill.... bummer

I'd have to disagree with you there, If anything i think its more fair being able to use everything that your disposal eg knees submissions and all that

We all know whats going to happen in a boxing match. They're going to throw punches at each other, UFC has a bit more variety i be thinking

Lol i guess kneeing someone or elbowing is really fair especially when people are on the floor and their heads with no where else to go except the canvas. Lol i cant believe you actually think anything is fairer than fist to fist. Each person has the same chance the better fighter will be whoever trains harder and is more skilled in blocking dodging weaving and punching so ye but i guess

Everybody has knees and elbows don't they? Wheres the difference in fair play between both opponents using all their limbs, and just using their fists?

I think that everything is fair as long as both opponents abide to the same rules... if both are allowed to use elbows its fair, they still have to train since they both get the same advantage...
