I was going to Ohio University to get a bachelor's in psychology. Well, with maybe a year left, I had to drop out because I couldn't afford it. So I came to the conclusion that not being able to afford a bachelor's degree, it'll be even harder to earn a masters. So I decided to switch to public health. I was going to go to a local community college to earn a one year degree as a Practical Nurse (PN) and then transfer to the local university to earn my bachelors in Community Health. Then I heard of this thing called an MPH. Has anyone on here earned this degree? How necessary is it to getting anywhere in the public health community? I read online its a one, maybe two, year program which makes it less intimidating, but I'm still concerned...
