So mine broke, and it fucking sucks. It's time to get a new pair though, and I know that you might not be the best group of people to ask, but what experiences have you had headphone-wise? Anything you might recommend? I'm preferably looking for those in-ear type headphones, around 60-80$. I hate buying stuff, especially headphones, without reading reviews about them. There's some headphones that are pretty shitty, and I like to hear my music nice and clear. Anyways, any input that you guys have would be appreciated
Go to Zellers and get these. They're made by JVC. I have them and I love 'em. Usually my headphones die within a month because I listen to my music blaring loud but these have lasted since January and they're good as new. They're only $20 which I couldn't believe. Trust me, I'm the Captain. BTW: I'm the kind of guy who would normally return a pair of headphones even if they had the slightest problem. I have no plans on returning these babies.
^Those suck suck suck as far as quality goes, but as for bang for the buck? EXCELLENT - and I've heard they are comfortable. I've got some bad ass Sony in-ear headphones. http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/koss-portapro-headphones/4505-7877_7-32897197.html?tag=mncol;lst If you wanna look like you know something about audio lol
Sony. Since you're willing to spend enough. I've had them for several years now and they're still awesome.
^^ It says hair gets caught in those (the post above the one above me).. So for me thats a definate no lol. And the JVC ones are good man, this other guy doesn't know what he was talking about. Anyone who says a Harley isn't a real bike must no something about headphones, right?
Not to dwell on the other thread, but you were giving him shit about liking harleys and you were saying how much you hate america, Aren't harleys made in america? I might be totally wrong, but I thought they were.
^^^ Was that intended to be for me? I'm the one who likes the Harleys man. And I don't hate America, I just tell very offensive jokes that could be taken the wrong way.
skullcandy is ridiculously overpriced. Sony...seriously...go for it. I don't understand what my knowledgeable interest in motorcycles has to do with my knowledgeable interest in audio.
http://www.google.com/products/cata..._catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=1#ps-sellers Save a few more dollars and get these best ear buds ever the bass is bumpin!
There are better buds than Bose - you are just buying their name anymore. Research - go to cnet.com and find what fits you
That's what I've been doing. I've heard amazing things about those Etymotics that Quoth mentioned, but they're hard as hell to get your hands on in Canada, apparently.
Hmm.. ebay? I got mine (gone through 2 pairs in 5 years) on ebay. Not cheap, but fuck they last a long time and the noise cancelling is near-total, beats out any crappy active cancelling.
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs...10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665815076 I used to have an older model of these. Best earbuds for the money. Bass is awesome since they go IN the ear canals and not on them like regular earbuds. Excellent sound blocking too even without 'noise canceling' technology. All around totally worth the money.
^Have those and they do completely blow out any other headphones I've used. I crank those bad boys too with bass booster EQ on my iPod and they stand up great. I've had them for over a year now
I agree SkullCandy is way overpriced and, maybe its just me, but they would CONSTANTLY fall out of my fucking ear when I was walking. I tried all the different sizes they give me, then after they finally stopped working in one ear (about 2 months), I got a $5 pair of TDKs and they're great
