well i started my dreads about 11 months ago.. my friend backcombed them, cause we really didn't know any other methods to do them (my hair is very slippery so sometimes when i didn't comb them for weeks, nothing happened), since in estonia dreads are kinda rare, so there was no one to ask at that time.. she backcombed them really loose, so i'd have a chance to back down and comb them out.. that didn't happen..
at the time i wasn't smart enough do dig in the vast space of the internet and sadly as much digging i did, i never got around to hip forums, sooooo.... i waxed them too with some pure beeswax i boiled :p
gladly though, i wasn't very fond of sticky eeky hair so i didn't do that much..
when i reached about 4 months i decided not to d anything with them (except palm roll here and there).. and now i'm happily at the point of 11 moths

    i'm young and without dreads

and now my dreadies look like this at 11 months

with all the waxing and stuff.. i'd like to think that i didn't spoil my hair, so that's what i think :p

and sorry fo the bigass pics :)

    cool
    your dreads are great
have the tips blunted naturally or did you do it?
and what made you decide to get dreads, being that they're rare where you live?
    lol at feeding kitties bread

oh the tips.. my friend did them first for me, but then kinda left me alone with them, so basically i remade them myself.. if i had known that it would be that much work.. well idk if i would have done them :p but, i like them, so let them be :)
i made dreads to my boyfriend some years ago, because i wanted to have them but i couldn't (i studied in an elite school and that wasn't something that was tolerated) so i waited for some years and got them when i finally could. though i wouldn't say that my fellow unistudents look at me weird because the thing im studying isn't any better. but basically i wouldn't say i got them from some rastafarian religious deep insight, rather was the natural way of things to develop for me i guess

@hawtmamah thank you, though i think ur dreads will look different due to different methods (or will not?, haven't had any exp with other methods) but no doubt they will look really nice and groovy :)

and Luxie thank you, i don't think i have ever posted any pics in any forum before cause i don't like me on pics and i don't like being photographed. the kitty pic was actually taken in Moldova, but estonia humm.. yea it's worth of visiting, most of the people who have been here have liked the trip very much, so yes comecomecome you all :D as to living here, i dream of sunny weather :)
i might write a longer post on estonia some day when ill have the right mood

    and thnks gretaoto too

aww you had to ask that, didn't you :D

well i study law, cause i was too lazy and i had to decide really quickly and that kinda fell into my lap.. i can't say that i enjoy it 100% but then again i can't say i hate it too.. besides i have found myself a good path to walk in that field, that is if i'm going to do something regarding to law at all :piggy:
and i have other activities that keep me happy (eg i do uv decos, though nothing spectacular)

and thanks guys for sweet words

i'm a bit confused by the babezilla, what is that? recently hatched monster who is going to eat the world and itself starting with it's tail? o.o
