Hey everyone, thought i would start a new thread as i havent really been around much lately so, here goes... anyone got any holiday plans this year? If so, where ya going?
I have some festivals Im going too,the gathering in New Mexico, camping in Yosemite, and a couple local overnight kayaking trips! Yipeeeee! Im stoked.
We plan on going camping and hiking as much as possible. Our daughter is going up north with my mom for the first week in July, so hubby and I are trying to find a concert or something to go to during that time. There is a music fest in our town in mid-July that I will be vollunteering at; I get to teach some hoola hoop dance workshops and wander around performing through out the weekend. Alot of our friends from home will be coming this weekend; I'm really looking forward to being surrounded by my mountain family again. The first weekend of August we are going back to our hometown, to see my friends for my birthday and to drop off my daughter & puppy with the grandparents for 10 days. Then we go home, pack and we're off to paradise at Shambhala Music Festival.
i was hoping to get out to the beach this year with the fam but i don't think we'll be able to afford it. unless we camp, which im not against doing at all... but we have no camping gear. lol. Hopefully we'll get out to some smaller area festivals, i haven't been to a concert of any kind since high school. I'm going to be about...? 6-8 months pregnant during the summer months so i may not get out as much as i'd like with 2 younger kiddos in tow but we'll try.
i only celebrate april 20 and halloween. intoxication in some form. but thats not really much different than most other days.
hmmmm dont know.... Ill probably get a job here or maybe go to texas or baltimore to try to get jobs there, depends on who will let me live in theit house for the summer
end of the year or start of next me and my mate are driving up to queensland to for our 2nd surf trip
I'm going home for the winter uni hols!! YAY! It'll be reasonably warm and not snowing (i hate the cold...) that's it for me till november though

I'm off to Belfast on Monday, going to Portugal next month, then over to England I'm also hoping to go to a few festivals and go camping a few times I can't wait for Portugal though <3 finally some sun!
i'm going to ozora festival in hungary and transylvania calling in romania. prolly gonna rent some minibus/van and gather some 6-9 ppl group and just drive through europe.. but that's only in august, so gotta wait till then, but i can't, i wanna go noooow hmm maybe i'll go to some other fests around the baltics too
I'm going to Amsterdam In the summer, like the day after my exam results, then we get straight back and go to leeds Fest.
uhvo, hungary is beautiful country. have fun! this year...well, this summer i am going camping and tubing, then in december we are going to Jahmaica!!!! eeeek!
Not too much here, working, taking some new courses so in the next few years I can take my boss's position when she retires.... hopefully! Saving money and paying down debt! Oh and a family reunion in July that is a campfest! Yay... And probably home for the international plowing meet. I know... plowing not my thing, but 10 000 international peoples living in a farmer's field for a week must be seen!
My sister and her family are coming from Spain for a month, so I imagine lots of beach trips and things like that- over the 4th of July going to Rothbury Festival, then another trip at the end of July to Toronto for 2 night concert, plus a couple of weekend camping trips. I can't wait for the summer to start!
