Psychoactives teach you things about yourself and the world around you, the internal and external worlds, through enhanced experience of the present reality. More importantly they help you deeper immerse yourself in the present, and thus get more out of that moment in time if you so choose. ....?
Drugs will definitely teach you some valuable lessons, which is one reason drugs are good. Drugs are also good because ONE MOMENT of pure happiness/peace is worth a lifetime of pain and misery.
drugs: short term effects are good. good times. long term effects...either unharmful or negative. drugs might not be as bad as people say, but they're definitely not good for most people. i gander the only real positive thing, besides quite a few good times, thats ever come out of my drug use is being influenced by a little more open minded free-thinking crowd. (a lot of people completely antidrug can be pretty closed minded or anal)
Even with the negative effects of long-term drug use, it can be worth it, because emotional/psychological well-being is more important than physical health. I'd rather die young and happy, as opposed to old and unfulfilled.
Drugs are a tool to speed up the mechanism of certain aspects of human life; for example, to feel a month's worth of pleasure in 2 hours. Sometimes at a cost, sometimes not.
You're right, but I think the generalization was made based on our own particular drugs of choice. The drugs I use are good for ME, and even though some people may use some drugs that I have no use for, maybe THOSE drugs are good for THEM. lol You see what I'm saying?
lol Very true. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as you get what you're looking for with whatever drugs you happen to use.
yea, definately not good. but fun and made me more open minded. i also learned to control and clear my thoughts properly due to a few bad/overwhelming salvia trips.
How is that not good? At the very least, you can admit that drugs are beneficial, which, to me, implies that they are "good". lol
they allow you to tap ino that 90% of your brain that you dont use, but is always there, waiting to be unlocked by the keys availible to you
90 percent? really, damn thats quite alot. what do you mean, like we use only 10 percent of our brains and like a 90 percent chunk of our brains are parts unused? i know there are different parts of our brains, im no expert on a brain but examples hippocampus thalamus, or pineal gland for examples. so say we use those parts along with the other parts, but there are parts of our brains, maybe unnamed or maybe named that are not "active". lol. im just curious thats all.
