Inside of a Human Brain

This is a map I came up with of the inside of a human brain.

The center is identical to a bacteria brain, in that when the environment tells the organism it is dying, the being must reproduce.

The next shell is a cold-blooded reptile portion, designed to selfishly protect the core.

The next is the pack animal brain, responsible for the basic social programs of pheremone detection and group hunting.

The next is the human brain.

Do you feel like you have accessed or isolated these parts of your brain while tripping?

 

Perhaps I am taking your picture too seriously (and I do mean that in the kindest way). It has some merit as allegory, but nothing more. For starters, bacteria do not have what you, I, or any biologist worth his or her salt would call a 'brain.'

But they do have programming that tells them when they are dying, to reproduce. As do we.

 

just because they have programming doesn't mean they have a brain. a computer has programming, but no brain.

 

Don't you think our brain is a bit more complicated than four isolated, concentric circles, each representing something that isn't human? You're graphic made of some sort of character/creature/attribute based video game.

 

i literally went back into childhood memories of me in school and felt my whole life was built around acid..As in that acid trip was meant to happen to me and to this day i believe that i was meant to tripp..It was great

 

although an extremely broad draw up, there are millions of layers/sections/chemical make-ups in the brain, but since you are referring to on an LSD trip and the human brain perceptions/experiences you can go through, this makes a lot of sense, and is almost on the money. here's why..

starting off with the center, the what you have as labeled "bacteria", if you look at it as if it were the pineal gland, along with DMT production/death, energy, the seat of the soul etc...it is very similar. this is the part of the brain which may only need accessed during birth/death/near death experiences...the core of our being.

the next section, as labeled "hunting/reptile", the way I see it we currently are in a modern world/civilization and are extremely lucky enough not to have this instinct come into play. Honestly, have you ever really, truly were starving and consciously knew you had to kill or hunt for food, more than likely not. This is why this section is the smallest, least likely to need access to.

as for "pack animal" I see what you are trying to say with the pheromone detection or laws of attraction/mating etc. I'm not sure about this one due to the "hunting in groups" part..but this is probably where the creating part of you would also lye, God's gift

and then my favorite, the huge "human dumb shit" section, which is compiled of what I would assume is all the things that flood our little brains everyday, this section of course needs to be huge. This is mostly why the previous, and inner sections of your chart are not used as much, the brain is flooded consciously and even subconsciously of everything you see every moment. Along with things like materialism/jealousy/desire/etc.., no doubt this would all manifest and block out other areas of our brains because we have evolved to not needing to access them.

these are kind of the main cycles you may experience on an LSD trip, or maybe you don't, depends on the person and you know how that goes. and if you really want to compare this chart to LSD, look at how the "human dumb shit" section is so large, almost as if it's the beginning of a trip, and you have to surpass this section or as you'd call it "letting go", and then so on, right through the doors, possibly right to the core....you follow? Here is a sketch I did over the OP's.



The LSD trip would typically begin in the "human" section, where most people get caught up and stuck at. If you are capable of letting go and go beyond this area you continue to the next and onwards experiencing a full and beautiful quality LSD trip, and then coming down you go right back to human perception, completing a giant cycle, and this is when the brain and YOU come back to realizing all that you may have (good trip) or all that is really bothering them (bad trip)....
