What if some super advanced race of aliens came to visit you, and said they could take you to live on their utopia world where there is no war, everyone's happy, government is in harmony with the people, they know how everything began and will end, and there's no disease, hunger, etc... Well yeah, but people in communes are still susceptible to disease, and hunger. And the 60s style communes just didn't work. Also, by nature, people will take power if they can. And any commune in any country isn't considered separate from that country... so if an american commune decided to grow pot, feds would come in and arrest them. And even if you where to have some perfect commune, there would always be shit going on somewhere else in the world.
Didnt you hear? The Governator is legalizing weed in California.. I think the Earth is harmonious, I think going somewhere were everybody is happy and free and peaceful is more oppresive, and completely unharmonious, Harmony is all about a balance, and Earth is by nature harmonious

What happens to you when you do the same thing over and over? You start to act stupid. Humans like change and our world is at a good pace of change for us. We have adapted to this and if we where taken away suddenly it would be bad.

Hell humans can't be trusted what makes you think aliens can? And with out some sort of violence and everything just being peaceful toking wouldn't be as good anymore think about the mellow comparison of now, to what that would be?
Never. If it meant that I could never see my loved ones ever again, it wouldn't be utopia for me. Family and friends are what makes a place great for me.
