Is the religious persuasion of your partner(hypothetical or real) important?

Yes it is important to me,
I would look for someone who did not need the crouch,

Once you have a religion you can no longer seek truth because you supposedly have all the truth once for all. Most know that cannot be the case

Depends on how much their religion has shaped their morals, values, thoughts.. Respect for each other's beliefs, or lack of beliefs, is more important than the beliefs themselves, however if our values were very different I doubt it could work even if the respect was there.

Ah ok. I didn't know that, doesn't really make sense to me to have to convert for marriage.

Oh please. So unlike dumb, blinded religious people, non religious people seek truth.....
I love it how people talk trash about religion and yet don't know the first thing about it. You don't 'supposedly have all the truth if you're religious' ,no one does. Not even the pope, mullah, patriarch or whatever.
Everyone is different, someone needs religion and faith to guide them and help them and someone doesn't. Just like someone needs to get laid three times a day and someone once a month. And those two people certainly won't be falling in love. Which doesn't mean that one of them is wrong. They just lead very different lifestyles and that's it.

Also, I've noticed that non religious people talk more about religion than the religious ones. And not in a good way. Seriously....not cool.

Does anyone think the Raellians are a valid religion?

    Or the teachings of Gary?

Yep, this is my complaint. People I know are constantly putting religion down but if I were to put atheism down (which I wouldn't anyway because I really don't have a problem with it) then I'm a bigot.

    Hypocrites.

As long as they aren't proselytizing than I'm cool with it. I like people with a sense of balance in their lives with a rich heart they want to share with people around them.

I find it irritating when people say they're spiritual not religious. Than the next things out of their mouth are judgmental things to those who don't think the same as them.

I'm a grown man, and I realize that I won't live forever. Theres no afterlife. I would love to share my life with a girl who believes something different, as long as she isn't a bitch about it.

So that's where I draw the line. Not in terms of religion, but in terms of being a bitch about it.
