I always find myself stopping and wondering, "What's the catch", there's always a catch when things are going smoothly.

Humility. No one should be 100% happy. The stone reminds you that its not all that wonderful.....

Because there just always is. It's the calm before the storm. Which I always take as a nice break and relief and appreciate it, but I always know something coming up that I have to prepare for.

Not generally, but I'm realistic. I'm usually rather upbeat on the way I approach life and situations, but life is about change and things always shifting. There's always struggle and problems, it's how we learn and grow as people. If things were fantastic all of the time, we'd never get anywhere in life. If things are going well, I know it's only a matter of time before the pendulum swings, just because that's life.

When life feels good I just enjoy it in the present. I mostly stopped anticipating what the future will bring in terms of good/bad.

I always think of the uncertain negative of what's to come. I like the be ready for anything that life throws at me. I guess you can say it's a bit pessimistic but I'm a person that likes to keep calm when things don't go my way. Don't get me wrong though I know you can't prepare for everything thing, but I was raised to see the consequences of my actions. However, do see the positive sides of reality aswell.

I usually get what I expect.
Most of the time that is some thing good.

Did not meet the love of my life till I was 36.

    Did not give up,
I think feeling that some thing bad is going to happen when things are going good is a
psychological problem, the fear is not based in reality. Things left to themselves will almost always turn out the way you expect. Expect the best, most of the time you'll get it.

I guess things have never gone fantastically well long enough for me to take notice, so I guess I really just don't know!

I figure I'm one of those people that see the glass half full and half empty (but at least there is something in the glass).

I "expect that more fantastic things are going to happen because good stuff attracts more amazingness".

that's right. it's all about training the subconscious to be innately happy.

how do you think 'the little engine that could' got up that fucking mountain? he had little power and the odds were literally stacked against his weak ass. but, he believed. he believed that he could manage despite his less than perfect situation. he made it, the little fuck made it.

when you tell yourself something it usually manifests itself somewhere in your reality, baby.

So maybe not in real life. Good stuff isn't like a good stuff magnet.

But, if you're in a good mood, things are going well, the little things that piss you off when you are mad are more likely not gonna matter as much. Si?

When you're angry the world looks red.

When you're happy the world looks like this:
