I can hide it till summer hehe tofu and tempeh are awesome, and cheese is really good too as long as you eat a lot of legumes and veggies and stuff. edamame and almonds are my major snack, and if you like cottage cheese with tomatoes or strawberries or something... yeah. took me a while to develop a taste for cottage cheese. Popcorn is a good snack as long as you use olive oil and sea salt instead of butter. And I eat fish a couple times a month, cook it up in Bragg's liquid aminos with sage and garlic. That's a good way to fry tempeh or tofu too... soo nummy
Maybe u found the protein filling? Higher carbs and fats mean u aren't drawing into your fat reserves to lose weight.

Congrats on the 15lbs gone! I hold my chub around my gut and face as well...first places that gain, and the last to go.

I have never cooked with tempeh before. is it the same as satan? I really do want to get super healthy. I also noticed, I haven;t had a pimple in about a month either, even before my period, I didn't get any. I am convinced it's from cutting out the sugar. I don;t want to pretend I was totally good though. I did eat an entire bag (the large size you get at the grocery store) of M and M's in a few days last week while pmsing. I just want a long and lean body again...sigh. I promise, bikini by my b-day this year.

aww yeah my weaknesses are cheddar popcorn, chips and jalapeno jelly with cream cheese. Probobly. I switched from coffee cake, donuts or biscotti for breakfast to balance bars. Half the calories and I end up full until about noon. I had been really thin my whole childhood and teenagehood and my mom raised me vegan, so I had no idea how to eat normaly, you know? It just caught up with me. i am really embarassed at how bad I let it get. i have no medical excuse or anything, I just let myself go. Never again! SOme of the pictures I have from over the winter are just so arghhhh...I want to crawl out of my skin. I wish we took other pics besides foot pics at the dead show so i could see if I notice a difference yet.
do u eat fish and meat now? I know vegetarians and I just think "fuck I'd need 10x the protein they have..." ( weight training etc) Altho vegetarians can be very healthy.
Good for you! It's amazing how good it feels to work out, isn't it? I pretty much haven't worked out in weeks, today went to the gym, ran 2 miles and did 2 miles on the elliptical, and I feel amazing. like all of my anxiety and negativity has been temporarily lifted. Anyway, great job. Keep it up and make sure you don't get those "I lost 15 pounds, I can afford to eat a brownie sundae" thoughts, because they will have you back where you started! :cheers2:
I feel much better with out the soda, I'll tell you that... unforunately I have slowly weeded out booze, but TCF takes up the slack, he's a team player. Water and lemon is what I always order at resturants.... it's also free. You'd be shocked how much I weigh and how big I really am... most of my pictures are face pics...
YES I drink too much booze, that's ultimately my downfall I suppose. it also makes me lazy. I've weighed 15 lbs less than I weigh now, but I've also weighed 10 lbs more. So it's progress. And what I'm drinking makes a huge difference. I don't think I'll be drinking any more Irish Car Bombs
