so im getting my first tattoo on the back of my right calf this weekend, and im not like a crazy hairy guy, but there definetly is some hair on my leg there, should i shave it off before getting the tattoo done on saturday?
The tattooist will probably get his razor out even if you do shave it yourself, just to be on the safe side.
congrats and pics when the art is presentable. I have a related Q for the board... if you have light (in color or abundance) or thin body hair, is it necessary/beneficial to continue shaving the art?
You mean like continue shaving the area of the tattoo? If that's the case, no I wouldn't say you have too. I mean, I could understand shaving it if you had it somewhere on your body that's hairy and you're naturally bushy.
