for not getting a 90-day review signed on time. It's completley my fault. I;ve had it in my car and have meant to get it signed by the parent, but this kid's sessions are always interesting, so I always forget. It just sucks not knowing when the write-up is coming and that it makes others feel uncomftrable having to do it (It's coming fromt eh big out of state boss). But, to be honest, other than the not knowing where it's coming, I just don't give a shit. I don;t know if it's because I am on my way to self-employment or if it's because I am goign to have to put my notice in in a month anyway. I just feel bad not caring. I love the kids I work with, but am so apathetic toawrds the paperwork part. When's the last time you've been written up?
i think i had just turned 17...and i wasnt so much written up as straight out fired...our female coworkers took it upon themselves to narc us out because some us were getting stoned on lunch break...oh well, fucking hated that job anyway...slaving in the hot august sun for 5.15 an hour...fucking BULLSHIT!
Never...I'd probably cry if I got written up, because it's a 3 strike policy and I'm just terrified of being fired, lol. Now, there are a few times that they could've written me up for various things, but I still squeak by, haha.
tons of times...also fired...suspended....sent home....but its all good cause I dont care what most people think as i am secure in my irresponsiblility
I would be freaked if we weren't moving, but if they fire me it will make very little impact on our situation since we are moving in July and I will be unemployed anyway, it will just give me a better chance at getting unemplyment. I just really suck at getting things in on time. I've been racking my head with ways to make this other people's fault and I can't think of any. I hate it when that happens!
I've been fired before...but I wanted to be fired everytime or I had already put my notice in. I am just really the type of person who needs to be self-emplyed. The husband agrees I should give the self-eomplyment thing a go when we move.
If I didn't work with kids or a job where my relaxed state could cause harm to someone else I would totally go to work stoned and toke it up during my break. fuck that.
last year I filed 6 years of back income tax and collected 5 grand in back child tax credits..I find as I get older I am slightly more responsible...and good luck with the move..the job...all of it...
about a year ago. i hired someone and let them start training right away because i needed them right away and that was just how it had always been done as long as i had worked there. but my boss decided to make up a new rule about not letting anyone work until all paperwork was done and filed away and immediately wrote me up for not having followed said before i was told it existed. around the same time i was written up for not doorhanging. but that was completely fabricated; you don't get sales from doorhanging if you don't offer discounts on the flyers, so not getting sales does not necessarily mean doorhanging was not done.
Just recently, for ending my class .... five minutes early. Which is odd, because in America, university students would love that and even kind of expect it from time to time. It seems as though Chinese students are bigger sticklers for time. But than again, other classes did not mind, when, on occasion, I ended 3-5 minutes early and all the other teachers do it here too. I guess some students are freaks about time. But even one student in 200-300 complaining is one more than in America I really do think. I just thought it was lame because it was kind of passive aggressive too. I was never informed that there was an issue of timing or problems students had. I just got a call from my supervisor over the five minutes. I suggested that it should be mandatory for students to talk with the teacher first, before reporting them. Otherwise a student could report a teacher for anything, with no consequence. So if one student simply does not like you, you could get reported, not to say that is the instance in this case. But it is possible with the way things are run now. Oh well.
I got written up all the time for being late, selling M rated games to minors, whatever whatever It was hard to care about a job that didn't give two shits about me - Best Buy is hell to work at.
I've heard that from a lot of people. My boyfriend got fired because his department manager told him to take the weekend off to visit his dying aunt before he asked the head manager or some shit.
Never, my boss doesn't mind yelling at me. I did get fired once when I got drunk and flew to denver though
Written up about three weeks ago for Facebook comments. Long story...not real interesting. I've been written up, fired, yelled at, so many times in my life it's kinda silly.
Yah, be smart about that facebook kids, it is dangerous. People put to much info on that shit. I've heard of a few firings over that site.
When I was working for various large companies, I never got written up..I was usually the "Employee of the Month"
Never written up, never fired. I would be so mortified if I ever was because of something I did.. I dunno, work is the one thing I always take really seriously and always do my best, or at least try to.
