    I'm gonna cut my locks

I'm going to Turkey for two weeks in the summer

First I want to swim there, and washing everyday with 2 kg on my head.. I think is too heavy

Second I've been thinking about this for a few months, and maybe it's just time to start something new

Third I still love them, but they're annoying me, because of the weight and when I sleep

So, I'm gonna cut them before my holidays, so that will be in june somewhere

Then I'll have short locks on my holidays

I can't get rid of them all at once I think

After my holidays I will probably comb them out

Sorry guys.. but I think it's time..

In a few days probably one of my last updates!

And I'm somehow 100% sure that I'm gonna miss them terribly :(

Maybe I'll start over one day, but I will go the natural way than

    oh no! I'm speechless :(

well I'm not realli, so your not going to try combing some of them out? I can't imagine hoe hot and heavy yours must be! I've been to turkey, it's so much fun. Loads of great markets. They sell fabulous quality silver for ridiculously cheap.

oooh maybe cut it into a dready mowhawk first and see if you like that?

No... that's not for me, doesn't really suit me.. next year I have to work in a museum so I have to be representable.. don't think a mohawk will do...

No! instead of cutting them OFF, get a trim, it will not be too much weight. Maybe just below shoulder length. It won't be as bad.

I don't know why you are apologising to us.. you are not letting you, or anybody else down. Cutting them off isn't the end.. meerly a transition. I am unsure why people are saying "NOOOO blah blah blah" I won't think of you any more or less.

I hope you have a wonderful time in Turkey! Take lots of snaps for us

It would be a real shame if you cut those lovely locks. Youre hair has been an inspirtation not to sound cheezy but really they have progressed so well it would just be a shame to let them go, maybe a trim because of weight but not a complete 360 please reconsider but in the end do what you truly think is right

I really want them short, because I don't want to comb out so much hair. I'll post pics of the process and stuff.

World Peace, I saw in one of your photos that you've got a ukulele and a banjo uke/mando uke up on a wall. do you play?

with your dreads, do whatever you want! no point in having locks if you're not happy with them. and i understand about weight being an issue...
