I have decided that i would really like to grow shrooms. Due to poor growing conditions i would like to use a grow bag (has anyone ever used on before?? do they work well?) because once i inoculate them, i can store them under my bed or something until the fruiting process. during this time, how much sunlight do the shrooms need and how long does this process take?
they dont even necessarily need sunlight. just any lightsource to show em where to grow towards. fruiting shouldnt take too long at all really.
If you are referring to the colonization stage (between inoculation and fruiting) then no light is necessary and you can put rye, wbs, or brf jar under your bed, too. I'm not sure why you would need the bags for this for that reason...
it makes everything easier and i dont have a pressure cooker, also i dont have to worry about having the proper humidity? i dont think atleast..
like an hour or so of indirect lighting will do. I'm getting some spores from FSRE soon So that should be fun. don't they have a poor mans method on shroomery.com? you just spritz water on top of this lid that will turn into humidity... yeah. just look it up lol
a friend and got a grow bag online, came with everything. worked great. took about 3 months before we were able to pick the shrooms. very potent. but my friend is an idiot and let them mold so we had to throw them away, good thing he paid for it and not me.
