So even though pretty much all the shrooms i've eaten have been cubes, why the fuck are the trips so different? Yesterday I tripped on them with 2 friend and EVERYONE of us had the same trip. None of us were happy or giddy at all. I don't think i laughed once. And the shrooms made all of us pretty fucking lazy. I laid on the couch the whole time. I really didnt even have a desire to listen to music. I just laid there and thought about my death. Since i was being such a bore my friends went downstairs and when they came back up they reported the same thing. The shrooms were just making them really emotional and even depressed and all of us were in a great mind state for tripping yesterday. The visuals were good and so was the body high, but the vibe was not. I mean the first time i tripped i was with these same two friends, and that whole trip was just insane laughter. So even though shrooms produce the same chemicals, why are they all different? Why do some give more visuals than others and some more body high than others? Why did these just make us lazy and depressed instead of happy and gleeful? I didn't have a bad freakout trip or anything, I was just not enjoying myself at all and was ready for the trip to end halfway through it cause i knew it wasnt gonna get any better. Anyone have answers?

just the nature of the experience, and shrooms are subject to more variation in potency than pure chemicals.

Set and setting. EVERYTHING effects a shroom trip.

no 2 psychedelic expiriences are ever the same. often times you'll find the exirience to be unrecognizable no matter how many times you'v eaten them.

the more you trip, the deeper it gets man. we're aloud a few "free rides" in the begining.

it's not a dumb question though. i've always wondered if there was a comparison between experiences on different strains. like, what's the difference between Golden Teachers and B+ from the consumer's perspective?

Man i hope thats not really true. I mean i'm all for a deep experience, but those ones that consist of nonstop laughter are awesome too. Wish I woulda known this if its true. I dont think thats somethin that can really be proved though.

Shrooms are always intense as fuck for me, its usually really fun, but i like acid more it makes you more relaxed about the whole thing, and the trip feels "in control" alot more if you know what i mean.

I agree 100%. My trips since #3 have never been as giggly and laughable as they once were, however I've enjoyed them substantially more and learned a larger amount than those first few.

if you say to yourself while you are tripping that you "know it won't get better". Then guess what? It won't. Use that emotion for something constructive like acting asian or something, do something if sitting there isn't good enough is all I am saying.
