What pisses me off is that my brother's teacher made her students write letters to Governor Lynch (NH) and complain about gay marriage and the example it sets for children. In my opinion gay should definetly be able to get married. I mean, I'm a straight Catholic and I have no problem with gays and don't see why anyone should.
I'm pretty sure you could get that teacher in a lot of trouble without too much effort. Unless this is just the prevailing and accepted ideology in NH.
When you add in Catholocism any hope for a sane response is out the window. After 40 years since escaping from their poison I still find bits of their toxic teachings popping up in my thoughts. And who better knows about perversion than the Catholic Church with it's filthy history and current ex Nazi pope.
personaly i would have tryed to right a very convincing argument of why gay marrage should be accepted, id even get a dictionary and make sure i made it very neat ^.^ then laugh when she got pissed off at me
If ya want to go one better than the dictionary get John Boswell's book:Christianity, Social Intolerance and Homsexuality. It seems the church not only accepted Gay relationships but in fact had marriage ceremonies for Gay people for hundreds of years. There are even some openly gay saints in the church's history. Gay acceptance was dropped from the church's acceptance not because they all of a sudden decided it was sinful. The reason Homosexuality became a problem was due to political fighting between church and state. Church and State both need to keep their sorry asses out of peoples bedrooms.

LOL, I'm curious what bad example this guy thinks gay marriage is setting for kids. Its not ok for two men to marry, but it is ok for them to have sex, as long as one is a catholic priest and the other is a 10 year old boy.
marriage should be banned in general its so unnatural to spend your life with the same person. change naturally occurs, its a process of life. its just a stupid name for the government to put on love. who names there love. comon
She sounds like a silly mother fucker to me. I hate people who believe gay and strait people are not equal. I find some traits of organized religion disagreeable, and intuitionally wrong. An example of this is arranged marriage, even between cousins. However, I do not devalue the individual who believe in this, in fact, I don't care much at all. Will say though, oddly, I wish gays wouldn't marry. I find it all rather silly watching two 'fags' placing themselves within commitment to religion. Why be part of an institution that hates your guts? They can keep that one right there, I don't need a piece of paper and a priest to bless my relationships.
I agree with half of that. Its human nature for us to get attached and settle down with one person, you can see it in allot of other animals too, especially other primates, theres evolutionary benefit to it... but I do agree with the whole label of marriage. Its so completely pointless in the grand scheme of things. I especially hate how especially in america, a married couple has more rights an an unmarried couple... an example... if one person gets in a really bad car accident, their partner (whom they are not married to) wants to see them in the hosbitle, they will have trouble doing that, as apposed to if they're married, there are guaranteed to see them. I also hate all the ties marriage has to religion, which is a good example of how american government is influenced by religion to an extent, even though it claims not to be.
unless it's a private school, your teacher should be seriously reprimanded. i bet if you reported the incident to the right person...i dunno...maybe the local press or complained to the principle or something, i gander they'd have to do something.
If it's a Catholic school, that is exactly what the parents want the children to learn. I couldn't disagree more with these thoughts.
God hates everyone equally. If this is true then attempt to reason with her before thinking about reporting to anyone. Remeber freedom of speech doesn't just apply to the people you agree with.
