I think eventually progressives will make a difference and have an impact, but for the time being, look at some of the ways in which we have a disadvantage.... 1) We are antiwar. We don't fight, how can a true revolution be accomplished without violence? We're seen as weak and docile. I prefer to fight peacefully with intelligence, but will that stand up against gun waving neo-con supporting rednecks? Can we defeat greed? They will fight 'til the end.... 2) We probably aren't reproducing at the rate they are. They believe in "family". Feminists and liberated women often choose not to have children. How can we compete against the religious people who are pro-family and have several children who they brainwash on a regular basis to be bigots? We are outnumbered as it is, it seems it will only get worse. 3) The media is obviously not on our side. It is so hard to get around that. I don't know what else to say. Will people ever get fed up?
