What to do when I go in the ocean?

I live right next to the ocean and I want to know what I should do when I get in the salt water. Should I rinse my hair out immediately or let it dry and take a shower later or what?
I love the water and I know it will help my locks.

 

i'd say rinse it unless the water is so clear you can see the bottom

 

I swim in the ocean nearly every day during summer. I rinse them when I get out or they get too brittle and dry, and start to smell nasty!

 

I wish I had my own ocean to swim in

Next time I make a new planet I will make just one ocean for swimming

wash it out when your done. Salt is corrosive so I wouldn't imagine it would do any good sitting in your hair. I surf frequently and didn't wash the salt out my hair for a week.... got some chronic itchies

so yer.. rinse out
