Official Bonnaroo Meetup

im goin to bonnaroo and would like to see some of your faces! im gonna be goin with my girlfriend and a couple more friends and we will have only the stickiest of the ikiest. anyone who would like to meetup post here. see u guys there!

 

I'll chill with you if you can find me among the other 80,000 people. I'll probably be sunburnt and wearing a pink and yellow "I Love Jesus" hat and pink sunglasses. That should narrow it down a little.

i just got a free ticket!! yeee. im volunteering so i can go for free. ill be hangin around the recycling bins and taking out the trash etc... for some of each day. but damn that will be soo worth the free ticket. i cant wait!

Hey all,

Here's one old geezer who's gonna be there (assuming I can still get tix!)

I went last year and it was a blast!

There are only about 10 billion people there (approximately! ) So it would be good to have some sort of "official" way to identify other Hip Forum Members... something that you could wear, high up on your body, and something very unusual...

And, remember that unusual clothes are part of the fun... Last year I saw folks wearing all kinds of costumes and clothes (and also not wearing all kinds of clothes! ) and holding all kinds of signs. So, whatever we choose should stand out.


One other option would be to declare a meeting place and time... say at the fountain at midnight? (If you don't know where the fountain is, you'll find it soon enough!) Or maybe by one of the huge bobble-head dolls?


I'm opening the floor for suggestions... y'all get creative 'cause I'm too old to think up anything cool enough.

Every year is a good year. My sister lives next door, literally, so i score a stellar free armband every year. Only two more days, and I will be in Bonna-heaven.

 

OK, no-one has put up any suggestions, and it's nearly time for folks to hit the road (like arcticfunky said).

Here's a suggestion:

Outside the Cinema tent. It's usually a calm, very low-activity, quiet place.
1) After Phish on Friday (appx 2:00am Sat morning)
2) Before or after Springsteen on Saturday (appx 9:00pm, or midnight)
3) after Phish on Sunday (appx midnight between Sunday and Monday)

Somebody bring a poster with the large letters " H F " on them (for Hip Forums, duh!), preferably a purple poster to go with the purple background on the forums.

I'm not sayin' I'll be there all of those times, but I might

Y'know, lemme just suggest the large " H F " sign any time, any where... seems like a random thing to do.

I'm sure I'll see some of y'all there, I just won't know who you are, and you won't know who I am. Just be kind to bald, fat, old men, K?

we had a hipforums meet up at the 3rd bonnaroo, or maybe it was the 4th, i forget. i think only me and phunkyfreshmamma ended up showing up to it. or we were the only people we could find, but we knew eachother before hand i think. damn my memory is fuzzy, im pretty sure it was at a bonnaroo, and im pretty sure it was a couple years after i met her. i know we tried to have a hipforum meet up there one year though, after that everything else is fuzzy.
