I just contemplated stopping at the liquor store for about 10 minutes, then decided not to because I don't feel like getting all drunk and then having to go buy cigarettes, which is sort of inevitable

plus I want to take some step class at 9:15 tomorrow and was thinking there is noway I'll get up if I'm all hungover so ya know.

i've never bought a mil. best 40, so i could be wrong, but isn't any beer in a 40 typically more expensive than malt liquor? which i understand doesn't really taste so good, but no worse than beast.

Milwaukee's Best (aka "The Beast") is some pretty foul stuff.

At least get some PBR or something.

    Yah, it is swill indeed.

Sadly, there isn't any good beer readily available here. I go with typical Chinese beer which is better than most of the mass produced crap in the US like bud or coors. But they do have PBR here, which is apparently the biggest beer company in the states now...

I miss my American microbrews/Ales, mmm.

No way. PBR bites back a bit too much for my taste. It's like the carbonated fizzy feeling from orange soda slapped into a shitty beer.

The Beast doesn't taste too great, but it's smooth.

Besides, they only had PBR in the cans and a 24 oz can was 20 cents cheaper than the 40.

And IIMU, malt is about the same price, but way stronger. Problem is, I'd rather rip out my intestines than drink a 40 of OE or Four O'

At the moment it's going on 11:00 AM here, and waaay too early in the day for me to have a drink. Normally I have one (or two) when I'm making dinner, so around 5:00 PM or so is when I would have one.

I think I'm actually going to stick with water tonight. On a Friday. Can you believe that? ;)

It's good to have a reasonable time for when you allow yourself to start drinking. :cheers2:

I thought about it long and hard for a very long time and I've decided there is absolutely no reason for me to start drinking any time before.... say..... 9:00am? I'd say that's fair. I mean I only get up at 8:30, so it's a good boundary I think.

You know, I cook for myself a lot too and I love to crack open a brewski as I cook. Though my dinner usually comes around the 7:30-10 mark.

    It is a nice feeling.

It really is. Kind of like the icing on the cake kinda deal.

I've been getting nagged for drinking too much beer lately, but in my defense I bbq almost every night of the week.

    Who bbq's without a cold one? :toetap05:
