any marijuana look-alikes?

me and my friend found a plant that im 100% sure is marijuana, but he isnt sure because it doesnt smell like it. but it hasnt bud yet and i told him thats why it doesnt smell, be he doesnt think so, so my question is are there any plants that you know of that look exactly like marijuana but arnt?

 

We have stuff over here we call Stinking Roger, looks exactly like a male mull plant, only its nothing like it. If it smells really planty and not like pot, then chances are its the same plant i'm thinking of.
You can try and smoke it if you want, but the smell is bad enough, the taste would be..... "different", to say the least.

 

there are several plants with rather similar looking leaves, but if you've seen a marijuana plant grow then you should be able to distinguish them i think...

however if you're in illinois i would think that the plant would at least have begun to show signs of budding by now if its outside. the plants i've seen around here are.

 

Don't take any chances if your not sure.

 

I have a variety of plant/weed that grows in my area that unless you have hands on experience with growing cannabis it could easily be mistaken for cannabis by one with little knowlege.What it is called is uknown,a weed in my book.

 

Yeah that's called ragweed . We got it out here in cali too. It grows along the highways and riverbottoms a lot.

 

there is also a plant called Texas Star hibiscus that is often confused for mary jane

 

LOL There is a plant here in Nevada that looks almost exactly like weed. Funniest part is the old juvenile hall had it for landscaping. The leaves are what makes you do a double take, although in my opinion the colour is totally off.

 

I saw a plant at home depo that looks just like weed. but it is a plant from china called red somthing or another. the leafs just like pot leafs.the leafs are red.peace
