So my psych just put me on 10mg of abilify and 20mg of celexa for bipolar issues. Today was my first morning taking it and about 30-40 minutes after the dose around 7am, I ended up puking and it didn't stop until about noon. Since then I've also been having dizzy spells where I get hot flashes, nausea, then I get light headed and dizzy, my hearing goes out and then my eyesight. I've only had this happen once before a couple months ago, so I'm not sure if it's related to the meds or if the meds triggered it. Coworkers thought it might be blood sugar, but I checked it and it was normal. Has anyone been on these meds with similar reaction? Or have an opinion on whether or not it was the pills. It makes me hesitant to take them tomorrow when I felt like death all day and still feel like crap.
Ha. No. I've already been tested for Swine. Instead they just gave me a diagnosis of "Viral Syndrome" because they haven't a clue which virus it is, but I don't think that's related to this, because I was fine until I took the meds.
