Dwindling agriculture economy, poor healthcare system, lack of innovation in our education system, inefficient public distribution system, naxalite problems, terrorist threats, and national security are the important issues which our political leaders offer blurred vision on. Without tackling the basic issues afflicting Indian society and providing a crystal clear roadmap for realizing all around development crucial to diverse and complex Indian demography, our Political Parties can not keep playing hide and seek game with us. Technology, as a matter of fact does what it is told to do? What about the man who sits over the machine? We want accountability, good governance, rule of law and a futuristic outlook that enables us to use our human and material resources judiciously. Our leaders who promise to change our lives over night and bring cheers to millions of middle class families have failed us numerous times. Can we allow them again?
I believe that although I am not Indian, that the problems that plaque each society are alike, much like the diseases that invade our bodies. No problem can be solved by a single or small group of people. Only a large collection of individuals with a good sense of the reality of existance can lead to a change. But remember, it takes a single spark to start a fire...
Meet with your representatives. Write to them. Find out where they stand on issues that are important to you. Call them. Google their phone numbers. I don't know how important it is to stress this action. By action we mobilize the change that we want to see in the world.
How did I know you were going to say that? Its your point, and its in your interest for me to understand. You failed at making your point.
I made my point. It's not my fault if you fail to understand. I have no interest in hammering messages at you. It looks like being involved in politics worked for a First Nations' person in my country. Now she is the Federal Health Minister. Go figure.
