Lack of Hip-folk

There seems to be a big lack of Hip-folk where I live (Rossendale area in Lancs) ... I was wondering ... am I all alone round here??

 

Well I am from the land of the white rose which isn't far.... although I am too old to be hip i guess

 

Erm, I'm in Blackburn which isn't too far from there. I could be described as hip I suppose (there is a real shortage of 'hip' people here I think).

 

I mean people who post on here when I say 'hip' ... maybe I worded it wrong! lol
And of course hippies in general ... haven't seen or met one in ... must be years!

I think the members of the Fugees play some Hip/Folk now. hehe.

 

How wouuld you deffine someone who is Hip exactly... everyone says, they are hip or reffure to people as hip.. but what actually is a hip person.. cos i don't think it excists to be honest. I think its a load of crap really, "hip" people... people are just people...

 

I meant Hip folk as in folk who post on Hip Forums and the like ...
