last week i made and drank tea of approximately 30 grams of b. caapi

today i took 30 mg of IR d-amphetamine

i read on wikipedia you shouldnt take adderall within two weeks of an maoi but i also know that plant maoi interactions are not as serious as pharmaceutical ones

am i going to be okay? i took 10 mg of adderall at some point between the tea and today and didnt die.

I think you'd probably notice pretty quickly if it was going to be a problem, so you're probably okay. Like you said, pharma MOAIs are much more serious than natural.

(I have to admit though, I'm afraid of MOAIs, so I never tried it. I'd like to do Aya, but I wouldn't feel comfortable.)

Could someone explain exactly what an MOAI is. I know I could just go on wikipedia or just google it but I'd like a response from a member. Thanks

you are right Drone you should be fine, its the pharmaceutical grade ones that are extremely powerful, plant ones are moderately powerful.

hahaha04: in your body are little chemicals floating around called Monoamine Oxidase, or MAO. MAO swims around and breaks down most of the chemicals we put inside us, whether drug or food. This is what makes you come down from a drug, this is why when you smoke cannabis, you aren't high forever. It's because MAO goes around chomping on the THC.

An MAO Inhibitor, or MAOI, is a chemical which blocks MAOs from doing their job, thereby enabling much more of the chemical you took to float around in you doing its effects, and allowing it to stay there much longer. Keep in mind that MAOs are there for our good, and combining many drugs and even foods with MAOIs can result in an unpleasant death.
