you never been re-hydrated? . its a cool feeling.. Can only feel the cooling effect for about 30 seconds uo your arm.. Rinse/flush a IV the same so the blood dont harden.. I dont know why people that shoot dope dont just use a IV, and flush the thing after each use.. Instead of sticking themselves all the time
I did this for a while, It wears you out after a while. You just start to feel worn out and exhausted. It made me tired all the time and eventually, the money wasn't worth it. The quality of my life drastically decreased due to me being tired all the time. EDIT: Yes, being re-hydrated with saline feels amazing. I now know why people use IV drugs That cooling sensation runs through every inch of your body and through every vein you have.
wtf. Totally creepy. *shudders* I can't give blood, let alone plasma. It gives me the heebie jeebies. I start contemplating Plato and Nietzsche whenever I get my blood taken and enter into the dark rooms of my mind. I can watch other people have it done, but for myself, it's all too real.
I used to donate plasma right out of highschool to support my first apartment. Donating plasma sucks for several reasons: 1. It's typically undereducated folks trained "on the job". And they don't make as much as you'd think to deal with the headache. 2. They don't make any extra for doing a good job. No bonus for customer satisfaction. They typically hook you up and ignore you. 3. Most of 'em can't stick for shit. I used to stick people with much bigger needles than they use much more gracefully. They use 17 gauge needles and are known to miss from time to time. 4. To get paid decent, you generally have to go twice a week. That means you typically use each arm once a week. Or the same arm twice if you're a brave soul. After a few weeks, it typically leaves track marks. And not everybody will believe you donate plasma, I assure you. 5. They don't judge your veins in a professional manner. I had one guy label my arms a "green" as they put it. Some girl looked at him and said, "Now you KNOW that's not right. Yeah that veins big, but it's mushy as hell". He laughed and changed it to orange. The last one happened to me the last time I tried to get myself to donate, which was about a year ago. I left and have and will never donate again. If you need the money it's a decent way to get it, but for me, the downside was just too huge for the $45 a week they paid me for two visits a week.
Never and would never.--I think it's pretty pathetic that some people in the 'so-called' richest country in the world the US actually feel they may have to do that to earn a few extra bucks.I'm confident this does not go on in the 'real' premier countries of the world ie:Westrn European countries and so on.
