Why is cleaning my flat so difficult? I'll tell you why...

...because it's so messy. And the reason is it's so messy is because it's full of things I've kept which really need to be dealt with eg...photos which I've printed needlessly, a load of mirrors which I'd bought thinking they were frames, Cd's, videos, a kit for growing your own crystals and tons of other things which I don't want to throw away...

...so I thought a swap box might be a good idea. Would anybody be interested in taking part? I could just put it all on ebay but I thought this would be more interesting and good for our souls.

Well I've never done one before so I'd have to make it up as we go along. I was thinking of filling a box with stuff and sending it onto someone who then takes what they want and then fills it back up. They send it on to the next person who does the same. Eventually the box is sent back to me and I take some stuff that I need and send it out again...the swap box is born :)

Any ideas for making this as cheap as possible would be greatly appreciated, I was playing with the idea that some of us could deliver it by car to near by forumers but failing that I'm looking into the cheapest way of sending it via carrier.

Oh I see...well, you can count me in:D I assumed itd be like a secret santa kind of affair where we each send a single forumer a parcel of stuff, but if your idea will be workable then it sounds like fun! How do you usually do it Ny?
I dont think any of us guys live close enough to eachother to do deliveries though:( as proven by the number of planned meetups that never actually happened!

I usually pair people up or make people choose partners if I'm lazy then they send each other 3 items with the total cost being up to £10 and they have to write a nice letter and stuff. People seem to like it.

Well if I know where everyone in the swaploop lives I can create a route that makes each transportation as short as possible to reduce the costs. I don't need addresses, just towns. I only need the address for the person I'm sending it to directly...
