probably about 3 grams. Its sorta wierd... tastes really bitter. I'm reluctant to smoke it. My friend thinks that the bitterness is from the pesticides used on the plant, which he says soaks into the stem. is this bullshit?
I boiled a few stems once to see what the outcome would be and I didn't notice any bitter taste. I think ur cat may be right in sayin' that its the pesticides.
I'm glad that I fell over this thread, since I had this good advice earlier (also at this processing MJ forum) that stems are worth to keep, when making oil extractions or making hashish. Untill now, I was just taking the smaller stems in use on which the buds were blooming. But how about the trunk? I've cut it into smaller bits, and kept the pieces in my freezer. Is the trunk worth anything or is it just waste? love, -wolf-
hahah ,, theres prolly 1 lbs of stems on a table in one of my rooms... And prolly another on the floor. Honestly.. Nothing worth the aggravation to try and extraction. Its a myth..
i have made oil with stems before, it works. Me and my friend had about 24 grams of stems, get the 5x butane and make it using that, anything below 5x will be a waste
I cooked up oil the other day with leaf (lots of it) while it cost me $20 in solvents . I got over $$$ worth of fine sticky mess.. lol. I had a pot amd a plate that I gave this girl I know that was full of goo and all sticky , shes been scraping it for days now.. and shes still high as fuck.. I think she even quit her job shes been so stoned..
Yes, I know that. When I made this thread, the rubbing alcohol hadn't evaporated yet, as you can see. So I didnt know it wasnt going to be a liquid, as this was my first attempt doing anything like this.
