    Hi Everyone,

I've got to admit that its a bit of blatant self-promotion. I'm part of the Workhouse team but I promise that even though I am biased its still a great little festival.

The Workhouse is based in Mid-Wales, 3 days over 10th-12th July.

Up-beat, hippy vibe. Good mix of music - Rock, Ska, Dub, Punk, Folk, Jazz, Indie, Acoustic, World, Dance. Funky entertainment inc Cabaret and Kids Area w/circus and workshops, Green Crafts, Cinema (world and independent), Healing. Fancy Dress on Sat. Bizarre and hilarious Walkabout.

Its all about lovely people coming together in a beautiful space to enjoy and be creative. Totally independent, non-corporate and all not-for-profit.

If it sounds like your thing visit: www.workhousefestival.co.uk

    Has anyone been before?

Oh no! Maybe scout camp will be fun. These things are always what you make 'em. But it sure ain't gonna be as fun as chilling out in a field full of lovely hippies for a mad weekend... maybe next year. We'll be here for a while yet, don't you worry.
