I still want dreadlocks, but it feels soo good to have short hair in the summer. But at least I tried it the right way. I will again sometime.

 

i agree!!! but whatever man, you do what feels good for you, and they do look cute so little!

so you used 'real' shampoo? and it didn't do anything... hmmm. I think you need to evaluate. If you have already and I've missed it, please point me in the right direction.

I used the shampoos I could get my hands on and all worked well for me.
I have been washing my hair with normal shampoo and used conditioner last time (2 days ago), and I notice now that the tips are starting to come loose a little. I used the conditioner on my roots (which I never did before) and the hair is really soft now. I do have a lot of outgrowth now and lotssssss of loose hairs, but I'll see what happens with the loose hair and stuff. Maybe my dreadies will just get normal hair because of the conditioner, maybe everything will lock up better because of the less of weight hanging on it (maybe they'll even get shorter). We'll see, I think I'll keep 'm like this untill after my holidays and than I'll see what I do.

Knotty boy makes a dreadhead removal kit that will take out any dreads no matter how mature they are. I didn't believe it until my friend used it about 2 weeks ago after 2 years of growth. It was sad to see them go but the product was great.

 

thats what i used when i got rid of my first set.. its cheaper to just use standard conditioners

hmm not gonna get that i think.. the conditioner i use costs like less than a dollar orso.. think one bottle will me enough.

 

Take LOADS of pictures.... I wanna see how the hair is afterwards just after a wash! I've been so tempted to brush out lately.... but am worried I'd still need to cut the majority of my hair afterwards... So ya... help me out and show it all! PUWEEZE!
