for a 21/22 year old? Im a new college grad, interviewing for "real" positions all summer (which will start this September) But what shall I do in the meantime? I need easy money. I used to work retail but I can't stand to go back to that. At the moment, I'm spending what little $$ I have left on booze and going out since I have no rent to pay this summer... (which is irresponsible, yes, but there is no other way to stay sane living with the parentals again. yah know.)
Bartending. Anyone can do it, there's always a demand for people, and in the US, should be decent tip money. Also, depending on the bar, you can have a great time at work. Isn't it obvious?
im capable of more, i swear i am im afraid of the ghetto hm i was considering, but its tough to get hired at a nice restaurant in nyc with no prior waitressing experience. it doesnt really happen i might look into that. ive never done it before.
That depends...What is your degree in? Economy bad? Bullshit, there is more opportunity for people to make big money right now. But that is another thread.
so by more you mean sitting around jobless mooching off your parents? take what you can get and then if something better comes along, leave and take that instead.
