For my mom at least...she's an ex-hairdresser, aaand she realy doesn't like what's going on on my head, but really...she doesn't know shit about dreads. But she knows about scalp skin, and she say's that i have scab(i think that's the right word, english is not my first language), and lalala...bullshit in one word, i'm not worrying about it too much since my head doesn't really itch or anything, but just to calm her down...how do i get rid of it or will it somehow really badly affect my scalp after a while? I think i had that shit even before i had dreads, i think that she just noticed that because she doesn't like my hair and is trying to find a reason to get rid of 'em.

    Kinda a long question, lol.

Read NP Dread info Thread and remove this thread or you'll be e-bullied for being the first newb to ask a question like this after him posting the info thread.

Wow, I just saw you're from Latvia :) I'm going on summer camp there in August. How are the people there? Are there a lot of dreadheads?

You shouldn't have a scab on your head. Your mom is right... get that fixed up... but it's unrelated to dreads.

My mom's a hairstylist and thinks my dreads are nice. Does your mom know you wash your hair?

Sores are common on the scalp. It's from all the hair pulling in different directions.

I did read the thread, and i didn't find my answer. I'm not that dumb. I'm going to try apple sider vinegar, if i'll find it. I guess it's not the same as apple juice, right?
We could take that to PM or skype or MSN if you like to. (The talking about Latvia)
But the people here are...like, well...pretty close minded, but overall, pretty good. Watch out from people in track pants, leather shoes and leather jackets, usually with short or no hair, lol. Where are you going to live?
