I have 11 tattoos and 7 piercings (more of both to come). So I love body modification. I am actually going to do my senior thesis on body modification for my Art History degree. I am currently watching Nation Geographic Channel's show "Taboo" and the episode is on body modification. It is rather interesting. One part of the show is discussing how one individual is going to have his eyeball tattooed. The episode has not gotten to that point yet and I actually have to leave soon for work but I was wondering what do you think of it? There are a lot of dangers to the procedure and of course if all goes well it would be an interesting art form.
Tattoo: Piercing: I don't know too much about it but I would think it would be tremendously painful. Of course, the result is pretty awesome.
I think it is moronic. I saw one of a pot leaf and all I can think is what the cop will say when he pulls you over. I think they suck.
Probably the same thing the cop would think if you had a t-shirt on advocating marijuana or a pot bumper sticker, etc. That's a pretty silly reason not to like them, if you ask me. Pigs aren't gonna like you regardless.
Well that may be true but a eye tattoo is something you can't get rid of. I won't get a pot leaf tattoo until its legal... Or I feel like I should do it. Like I would get one now if I had the cash and was high but thats because I'm tipsy. It would be dumb to get any eye tattoo because you can't cover that up for long.
Well, I mean, I agree that I wouldn't get it. Not my cup of tea, personally. Too many risks, and like you said, it would be hella impossible to cover up...but I wouldn't call it dumb. I mean, its just a matter of personal opinion.
as much as i love tatooes and peircings, the eye ones look a bit eeeeeeeeuuuughhrr to me....i don't approve of them : /
The piercing looks neat. The eyeball tattoo I saw wasn't anything special. I think eyes are pretty on they're own and don't need any modification. Personally wouldn't get it done but wouldn't care if someone had it done. I do wonder about the piercing though...I cant stand having an eyelash in my eye..wouldn't you be able to feel the piercing alwaysssss??
There are so many health risks involved at the time of the piercing and even years after there are still cases of blindness. Plus, what would you do if you wanted to further your career or something. A lot of people would judge it as like demonic and crazy. Plus it is irreversible, there is no going back.
I am not saying regretting your tattoos and stuff I am just saying some people do regret their tattoos and get them removed or covered up and I am just saying that there is no option like that for your eyes.
I guess you could just close your eyes. haha I don't know how well that would work out in the long run though.
