Do you keep a diary/journal/blog? Is the stuff you write just for you or is it intended to be read by others?
No. Which technically makes the second question irrelevant, BUT I'm trying to pick up the habit and it would only be intended for me.
i write poetry every so often, usually after a long walk or something to vent a feeling. it's just for my benefit although i did share a few here under a different username many moons ago. and me and my hubby have just started a blog. it only has one entry so far but it will be good. we are going to walk the 50 greatest walks in britain (which is a book we bought) and document it on our blog along with my photos. i guess thats for others to read.
D. all of the above i'm sure i'm in the top 5 bloggers on this site. i have several paper journals (diary, sketch, dream) that i need to write in more.
I Have Kept A Diary Since 1986. At First Nothing Too Involved, Just Stuff. But Since About 1996 I Have Kept Quite A Detailed One. Great To Look Back On.. And Also Very Handy For Those Important Things That Need To Be Accurate For Legal Reasons. Part Of It Involved Keeping A Record Of My Lovelife By A Series Of Different Coloured Texta Dots. Unfortunatly Glen Lost The Code To The Colours, And The Key To His Past Conquests.... Such Is Life. Cheers Glen.
Yeah, I'm sort of writing two scripts now. One much more actively that the other. It's intended to be seen. In it's current form I consider it all need to know. Usually spend a few hours a day on it.
I have a few blogs that are mostly just for me. But every now and then I post stuff here. I am also writing a book.
Blogs are pretty ghey. I do write regularly though... a tad less regularly than I'd like, but inspiration doesn't always strike. Maybe I should spend less time here and more time actually writing. I did just complete a long ass play and a couple of short stories though. I also write a poem before every class when I'm at school. Haven't written one in 2 weeks though... probably because I'm out of school.
No, not regularly. I try and write stories but I get bored or distracted part of the way through and never finish them. I'm on my third proper try now; third plot but I don't know what to do with it so generally I just leave it. My first try I got bored, didn't really have a direction, second I got stuck. Third got stuck. Oh well. I figure if I planned the stories out before, I'd get further but it's no fun tht way! Other than that I do write down any interesting dreams I have, for myself or if I want to post it in a dream thread and I do use my journal here when I have something I don't want to spam a thread for.
I've got a blog, but I haven't written anything lately. I enjoy writing and am quite good at it, but sometimes I have to really motivate myself. I write the best when something just comes to my head and I don't have to force myself -- it just comes naturally. I also write a lot of stuff that I don't make public... basically a journal of sorts. Sometimes I will write a poem, but not much these days.
I started a Blog Spot blog a couple months back in hopes of keeping up with meal plans and recipes, but pfft, I totally didn't keep up with it. Maybe I should try to remember what it was...lol. But yeah, I don't want a blog now that my life is pretty much the same day in, day out, and most of the interesting activities I participate in are illlleeeeegal. Haha.
