I've don't think I've ever had a genuine lol in this whole forum.

I've had a slight chuckle at a few things NP has said

There's no point fixing the ends as they come loose, right? I just gotta leave it now and wait?

I realize what people would have found funny. I just didn't see the humor in it though.

It's like watching a shitty childrens tv show... I know what the kids would find funny, I just see it as another shitty fart joke

if your 19 now, how old do you have to be before you get to stop listening to what your parents say about hair? ...I thought you could legally do what you wanted when you were like 18 o_O and the argument of your parents cutting off your school funds....what parent actually does that? ha - "we're going to stop paying your tuition because your hair is matted, this means you'll have to continue living at home for even longer, with your matted hair"

You guys don't know my parents. And I really don't see why my life is so funny to you. Nothing I said here was untrue. Yes I can do what I want legally at 18, but that doesn't mean that parents don't retain other forms of control.

well I don't want it to seem like I'm arguing against you about your own life, I can just be certain they will not cut school fees, for the reasons I've already mentioned

The thing about my school costs, is that I have a full tuition scholarship, leaving only room and board. Which means that even if they stopped paying, I'd be able to take out loans and still go, which they know. Therefore it becomes an actual option to them to use it as a legitimate threat.

Well then it would come down to what you want more, paid living costs or dreads ^^ though I think you could get both, usually most people are more worried about what their school thinks of them than parents, though a music college (?) is slightly more informal I would guess.

I can appreciate what Diton is going through with his parents. My parents had some wild ideas about things as well, but hair has luckily never been one of them. Hair is just hair... a waste product of the body. :)
