The average person will tell you that they don't mind paying for music. They just don't want to spend $15 to listen to three tracks. Can't say I blame 'em.
Especially if you can get them for free while sitting in your own house. Look, I also don't mind paying for music. I just don't value mp3's and to be honest, cd's neither. I rarely use my cd player. I used to burn compilation discs for friends, it just feels silly paying for one now. I'd rather buy an album for $15 like the band/artist ment it then buying a tune or three.
I want to open a rock n roll bakery, open 24 hrs. cool music, decor, the kind of place that becomes a habitual 'last stop' after partying. in the morning and afternoon hours it would play classic rock only. and then i'd open an adjacent clothing store, maybe.
I've started a few of my own businesses. And am still running them. Would *never* work for someone else. And I'd like to start some more:- Creative businesses. Property in really cutting edge architecture. Hi-tec businesses that create something of value.
Thats true. Whenever I'm in town with cash in hand, (a rare event, trust me ), I head on over to HMV and get whatevers on offer. Cheapest I've got so far has been £3.
I would start a t-shirt company in the basement of a tattoo shop that sells pipes and bongs. My passion is making t-shirts, making art, and tattooing. The basement would be a studio and t-shirt company, the first floor would be a tattoo shop during the day and an art gallery for hosting sick parties at night. This will require a few years work as a t-shirt company for little or no money. Then I would take out a loan of about $100,000 and start the gallery/tattoo shop with a few awesome tattooers and glass blowers to work in the studio. Eventually I would become just the general manager and delegate the jobs to other people. This is my dream and it will happen. I'll see you all in ten years... good luck
I'd like to open a shop in town that would sell extreme metal releases, pagan/heathen paraphernalia, grimoires, and weapons/armour and shit like that I dont know if the market in my city would be large enough for it to be sustainable though
Same problem here, although it wouldn't necessary have to be in this city for me. It's just that I don't want to sell an awful lot of stuff that I dislike myself. I know, that shouldn't be a problem for a good salesman. Ah, I do that with dvd's every once in awhile. I got Black sheep last week for €2,50 :cheers2:
1. Products (soap, jewelry, nail polish, etc) not tested on animals, and purely vegan food (even though I'm not a vegan). 2. Antarctica 3. Plane ticket, warm clothes, and lots of soy beans.
