I got bored and thought I would post my progress on my dreads and see what people think. I would also like to thank this board for encouraging me to start them ten months ago.
These are from my dreads second day of life.

These are current pics of my little ones. They are ten months and a few days at this point. I have learned a lot about being patient in these past months because of these and learned to not be so worried about how I look as long as I'm happy with it.

Thanks Luxie.:D Yeah I started them with twists. After a little while I just let them be except for the occasional separating because I felt like I was trying to hard in controlling them before that.

I love your locks! I say that a lot... but yours are so cool. I love how you can twist your hair and you get dreads... they look so nice and it's so neat.

loops. nice. don't see a lot of afro hair types in this forum. they look unique. definately not sister locks like you see on most black folk.

correction np. sister locks are similar to the process of root flipping. most afro types go for the twist/double strand twist method. sisterlocks/interlocking/brotherlocks are a relatively new fad.
