if its not in the right thread move it please for me? thanks :S

Basically about 5 months ago I started noticing my vaginal discharge changed.. it used to be white .. sometimes stringy...you know.? Normal!...anyway it changed to a very thin browny/yellowy discharge... and i was like what the fuck... anyway i left it for a month and then i started getting this smell.. HORRIBLE smell and other people could smell it at times as well! it was so embarrasing because NOTHING i did got rid of it...

Because i am a virgin i really didnt want to go to the doctors to get a swab test.. so i left it.. and obv it got worse... so anyway i built up the courage to go to the doctors and they told me i had a bacterial vaginal infection or something and gave me these tablets and told me to take 1 a day for 7 days ... i took them and it went away (YAY)
that was a month ago.. NOW ITS BACK AGAIN

I dont know what to do.. ive had to book the weekend off with my boyfriend because its very embarrasing.. so i had to lie and say i couldnt go around.. does anyone out there know what i should do? will it ever go away?
    PLEASE HELP

going back to the doctor seems like the most obvious answer here....and don't ever ignore things like that it could be a sign of something much worse.

Yeah you have bacterial vaginosis most likely, youll need another course of treatment (metronidazole I guess?) I feel your pain! Some women are just sensitive to it. Make sure youre not using any strong soaps or gels down there, wear looser underwear for a while and talk it through with your doc, its all you can do

And yeah please do go straight back to the doctors, rarely itll spread and cause nasties like pelvic imflammatory disease, which you dont want, and they need to check the diagnosis

yeah go to the doctor! if it's candida, you can cure it with yoghurt (insert a soaked tampon) or with garlic (just insert it, it will come out easily or by itself!)
