so happy and innocent from the outside. such lunacy on the inside.

i was a substitute teacher for 1st grade today.
    it was mad.

    mad fun!

but seriously, those little shits are crazier than the psychokillers they will one day grow up to be.

I work at an elementary school as well and it sure is a lot of fun, but man I can;t wait for summer break...two more weeks. That's the awesome thing about working with kids, you get a summer too :D.

When I used to sub, I got in trouble for brining in and using non-washable arcrylic paints and pastels ): . Seriously, sorry I didn't want to throw out worksheets all day. And we used them on the field, it's not like I trashed the room...which I guess is a 'no no' too. You have to stay in the classroom where the kids cannot process vitamin D or get fresh air.

When I first started counselign at the school it seemed more natural to take them walking around the field instead of in an office. Everyone acted like it was so not normal. 'They can;t go outside until 10:05'. Seriously, why? DO you talk better in a stuffy office or enjoying a pretty day?

I just found my kindergarten and 1st grade report cards. I also for quite a few more of mine and my brothers and sisters. My mom kept a lot of stuff.

Well, up until 3 weeks ago I used to teach 3 through 9, but I've changed schools.

Young kids are so much fun.:D

Why did you change schools? Still in Ubon though, yeah?

I think it would be hella fun to teach elementary school, at least if the kids wanted to learn. I get along great with young kids, probably cause I'm pretty childish myself.

I would somewhat enjoy teaching elementary, yet never ever ever in America.

Not only are 99% of the elementary teacher here ex-sorority bimbos, but the kids are also uncivilized due to a lack of education at home.

Too damn much to have on your plate.

I have a son in first grade (grade 1 in Canadian speak)...he is having girl trouble already.

I've had to speak to his teacher about a girl spanking his butt...and now that it's been a couple of weeks since that stopped, I guess she couldn't contain herself and kissed him on the lips yesterday...He was none too pleased. haha He has quite a following, but he's clueless as of yet. Boys always are.

As a mom, I can tell you the "no-no" part is when a kid gets non-washable paint on their clothes and their mom freaks because that outfit is now garbage.

Economics. After 2.5 years of volunteering, I felt it was time to make some money. And yeah, I'm still here.
