this is whats spinning right now....I just discovered this band, and have NEVER ever heard anything about them before. THIS FUCKING ROCKS!!! Curious to hear if anyone else knows this band?

Never heard of Hard meat, looks like one of those typical 70's rock bands that only released one album, there are some real gems among them though! :biggrin:

I'm listening to Nick Gravenites with Mike Bloomfield and it sounds just as awesome as this combi sounds
I was looking for an example for you guys, but I now found a great version of one of those tracks of the Gravenites-Cippolina band, if you like Quicksilver you're ought to check it out! :cheers2:

But that album of Nick with Mike Bloomfield is just freaking awesome as well. It's everything what psychedelic electric blues is. Heavily recommended :biggrin:

asmodean...i have never heard of hard meat, but i thought for sure you would have! i've been checking out some other songs, and these guys are friggin awesome. i think they did have more than one album out. im doing my research...

 

They have two albums. The first one is just hard meat from 1969 a nd the second one is through a window. I have both albums and like you said they are awesome.
(pm if you need any of these albums , cos they are really rare )

 

Well, I got pretty selective in checking out rare stuff like that because a lot of those albums are of course forgotten for a reason and I don't like listening lots of stuff I don't really dig
I mostly look those albums up after reading something about them that makes me think it's worthwile (or encountering a cool youtube upload of course ). I think Iban might know Hard meat though, he's even bigger on obscure 70's rock than me :cheers2:
