One of the great holy religions of our modern time is pluralism; the belief that one and the same society can consist of radically different principles, ideals and morals. Multiculturalism is one example of pluralism, another is freedom of religion. Pluralism is cheered as the universal concept of Tolerance, but if you dare to question it, you'll find yourself on the outside of that tolerance zone--a hypocritical product of a nutty idea. Let's examine why pluralism doesn't work: http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article2616711.ece

''A Somalian woman who came to Norway more than 10 years ago is harshly criticizing her fellow Somalian immigrants and Norwegian authorities. In a new book, she claims Somalians themselves don't want to integrate into Norwegian society, and that Norwegian welfare programs make it easy for them to remain isolated.''

She claims that resistance to integration is widespread especially among Somalian men, who fear losing their culture and religion. Many are afraid of Norwegians and view them as infidels who can't be trusted.

''In her book, entitled "See us!" (Se oss!), Amal Aden claims the Somalians also exploit the Norwegian welfare state and have many children in order to qualify for more welfare payments. Many couples also "divorce" under Norwegian law in order for the women to receive even more welfare payments as single mothers, only to continue to live under Somalian customs with their Somalian husbands and have more children, the author claims.''

Places like Gothenburg in Sweden are famous for facing the same problems. Somalians migrate to the West to escape the famine, corruption and chaos at home, and come to a socially well-organized society where things like social security exist to help you live a decent life. The problems begin when they realize that their customs, ethics and cultural norms are not welcome by the native population in their new home. Some parts of the Somalian traditions are even banned by Norwegian law. This is when we realize the obvious: here are two conflicting ideas of how people should live and how society should work. What can we do about it?

We can either force immigrants to adopt the lifestyle and norms of the new country, which has not only failed all across Europe, but also means we destroy cultural diversity and balance all problems out by enforcing a status quo relationship between people from different cultures. That relationship is maintained in the West through consumer culture, which means we replace our traditions with commerce. Not a very good idea, and one that has led to outrage among European natives as well as non-European immigrants. The second solution is to slowly change the new country into what the native land looks like. The infamous Rosengård in Sweden is one example of this.

Here's the classic FOX news report from the area, which - although admittedly biased in perspective, does not report anything that isn't true. Keep in mind that this video was made years ago. The problems today are a lot worse and have spread to the entire city of Malmö.

High taxes, insane crime rates, looming social chaos, cultural confusion, racism, and religious conflicts. Pluralism brings chaos and death wherever it's being implemented: http://blog.christianitytoday.com/ctliveblog/archives/2008/08/3000_or_more_ch_1.html

''At least 3,000 people, most of them Christians, are living in government-run relief camps after days of Christian-versus-Hindu violence in eastern India, government officials said.

The government said that many people were also living in the jungle without any shelter and security because of the tensions, which erupted in violence after a Hindu leader was killed Saturday. At least 10 people, most of them Christians, have been killed since.

Christian community leaders say that at least 1,000 Christian homes have been set on fire since Monday, rendering more than 5,000 people homeless.''

Freedom of religion? Think again, because it doesn't work. People with radically different perspectives on the most fundemental aspects of daily life, can't co-exist peacefully within the same region. This means you either let the groups fight out their differences until they've killed 80 % of their perceived enemies, or separate the groups and let them live in peace as they wish. This is the most realistic and pragmatic answer to pluralism. People like to live with other people who share their basic values and that is why multiculturalism and world pluralism don't work. We end up fighting each other silently through bitterness and social isolation. Anyone calling that freedom or peace is a moron. Here's another historical example of how pluralism always will fail: http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=SimpleSite/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1219913202412

''Being special is never easy. According to Dr. Avi Beker, an expert on international relations and former secretary-general of the World Jewish Congress, the idea that the Jews are special, are "chosen," has been the source of the greatest troubles they have faced across history.

Perhaps the key claim of the book is that the idea of chosenness has brought the Jewish people its greatest enemies and its most faithful friends.

"I don't accept classic theories of anti-Semitism that state that it's a hatred of the other, of the rich, of the different," Beker told The Jerusalem Post in an interview last week. "There's something deeper here, an obsession. You can't describe anti-Semitism as hatred of the type directed at Roma [Gypsies]."''

You can't enforce local traditions globally. If you believe you're the chosen people of God, that's neat, but you cannot and should not try to force that idea upon other people outside of your locality. Jews have faced anti-semitism because other ethnic groups haven't accepted their cultural behavior in the open public. We can always hide our immigrants in concrete suburbs and let them live their normal life there, but eventually we'll clash again and wish we were on separate planets.

Does this mean we should hate each other, or that racism is the answer? No way. You won't change anything in the world by hating other people because of their ethnic background. What you need to do is to recognize we want to live different lives in different societies, and as a logical response to that, separate. Cultural and religious diversity is beautiful, if it is preserved and allowed to prosper on its own conditions. According to the Corruptian philosophy of parallelism, if a nation or community ever wants to try out a pluralist platform, we welcome it to do so, but from the view of a European majority that has had enough, including the immigrants living in Europe who feel they're facing racism and mistrust from the natives, we need to stop promoting something that doesn't work and is not in the interest of any groups involved--except those who profit from the increasing number of consumers. Culture needs to dominate the profit again, and pluralism needs to be trashed in the bin, along with the rest of the failed modern experiments of our time.

Enough has been said about why multiculturalism at large is a ludicrous theory, but having spent my entire life in the most multicultural of all regions in Sweden, Skåne, and socialized both in small working-class communities and larger academic cities, my experiences all point to the same problem: most people are too ignorant to care about other cultures. There is no way integration is ever going to succeed in Sweden, because the common Joe is simply not interested in exchanging values and customs with other people.

In academic circles, you pretend to care about other cultures because it's an easy way to morally boost your ego. You'd never even consider the thought of actually living in Malmö and spending quality time together with people from different cultures, except for PR purposes--you want your all-white middle class refuge, after all. In working-class circles, immigrants actually integrate much easier, because there's less drama and more practical interaction between people. But working class people are also super-disinterested in other cultures and tend to have less tolerance for diversity in general. They prefer to harvest their own village patterns of behavior. Even a newly moved-in Swede will receive critical eyes for a few years before he or she is finally accepted.

It's funny how the most ardent multiculti-promoters live in classy, all-white neighbourhoods without the faintest of relationships to people from other cultures. In short, multiculturalism, like third world aid, is a surrogate theory for the ignorant and privileged to appear morally superior. The real multicultural people in the West have a natural interest in other cultures, but are also the ones aware of the problems that ensue from mixing radically different cultures. Multiculturalism is going to fail, because it thrives on ignorance.

No doubt. I smelt the whiff of plagiarism from the start.

I imagine we will not be getting into deep coversations with Hanggud, about how people get on with other people on a daily basis.
