How easy is it for you to become infatuated with someone?

Before I was with J (my husband), I had a new infatuation every time you turned around. Sometimes my friends thought I was crazy for some of the people who I would take a liking too. People that were not my usual type at all. And then after a while I'd develop a new infatuation.

I did it innocently though, sometimes from afar, but other times I would call, or send little notes, sometimes actually go out on a date or two. For that brief amount in time, my world would revolve around my current infatuation. Until the next one came around.

 

in high school a couple times, I remember being pretty infatuated with certain boys. being all giddy and excited to see them, wanting to look perfect, thinking this boy was quite possibly the most awesome person I ever met. I remember being around them and getting those butterflies and feeling like the moment was 'perfect' or whatever.

I sort of miss that feeling. I haven't felt it in yeaaaaaaars. When did I get so boring

very easily. before i was married it was common for me to be interested in a few different guys at one time. i still get little crushes here and there.

 

i get infatuated quite easily. luckily for me, i almost never meet women, so i can avoid crushes by never having anyone to crush on.

 

i don't get infatuated easily. not even when i was at school. infact the only person i've been truelly infatuated with is my hubby. he's the love of my life. although i occasionally get the odd crush on someone when they are a nice person, but nothing near infatuation.

 

It's rather easy for me to get a crush on someone interesting. I never get crushes based on looks and it's easy for me to talk myself out of a crush.

I made what I realise now was probably a mistake, of sleeping with a girl nearly 3 months ago, and even after the subsequent scandal and everything else she did I still find myself liking her
