whats wrong with my xbox?

ive got a 360. whenever i turn it on to play and i get to the dashboard, when im in My Xbox it only says open tray, theres no game to click to play, so i cant play my games! any of them, its not just one.

anyone know anything about this?

the tray might not be closing all the way. I dunno.

na i even checked for both of those problems . the game is brand new so i know ist not the game. maybe i will just call microsoft or whatever

 

that sucks balls. be prepared to sit on hold for a long time, and if they can't figure out the problem you're shit out of luck. i'm pretty sure the warranty only covers the red rings

 

hahahah this thread reminds me of something my friend did.

My buddy had a broken nintendo wii. You couldn't tell anything was wrong with it by looking at but it wouldn't turn on. He carried it around for 2 months in his backpack waiting to see another nintendo wii just so he could switch them and get a new one.

So one day we were at a party and everyone was stealin' shit from the chicks house (I only stole a couple lighters) but I looked on a table and saw a nintendo wii.

I looked at my friend then I looked at the Wii and then I got up and walked away... He knew what to do.

When we left he said "Yo man I got that wii and guess what? Guitar Hero Aerosmith was in it".

He didn't have any guitar hero controllers or anything so he gave it to me lol..

And now he has a new wii.

Terrible, terrible, terrible thing to do. I would murder someone if they stole something like that from me.....

But no one has so it's all good.

 

Dude this happens to me. I got mine standing and the way i fixed it was to lay it down then turn it on and that usually works.

 

You could probably get a new one from microsoft. Like if its fairly new, and you havent like pissed on it or anhything, than a big problem like that is from manufacturing (or whatever you would call it). Also, dont try taking it apart. Microsoft will be able to tell, and that would void the warranty.

Sometimes I turn it on and it says there's no disc, so I open and close the tray and it finds it.

 

^yeah same here. It doesn't happen often but it can be annoying.

My freind has that problem...

He often has to restart his console and rearrange the disk, or put the console on its side for it to work

I hate the unreliability of the 360 but the multiplayer is exquisite so im fine with it

 

My friend said you have to turn it off for thirty seconds...like unplug it and stuff with the game in the tray, and when you turn it back on it will read it.
