to the left is standard practice but it doesn't really matter a whole lot. i usually pass to my closest friend or whoever's matching me, then when in doubt, pass to the left.

we usually smoke blunts, so theres about 2 minutes of silence as the dutch is being rolled, so in that time period someone calls deuces, or it will go to the person who threw up bud for the blunts, or if no one calls it, it goes to the left
