What to do with my dreads while their young?

arent yall supposed to encourage people to get dreads and not tell them to cut them off. I don't understand why people feel compelled to post comments dissing other people's dreads other than the fact that you have a lack of self-confidence. I have had to learn a whole new confidence when I got dreads. I have only had my dreads 2 and half weeks and I have gone through many transformations emotionally. I have learned to just let it go. However, when I go on this forum to just ask advice about a simple subject and I have people posting things that do not answer my question and if they do it has a sarcastic tone to it. What has happened to this forum? People with dreads are supposed to be chill down to earth people but that doesn't seem to be the case on this forum. No matter what I post, people always have some kind of dumba** remark to make. I don't think I will be posting on this forum ever again. If I do I will make sure not to post any pics since yall are so aggrevated about it. If you don't want to see the pics don't look at them. Not everybody has seen them so I thought I would post a current picture and just ask a simple question.

 

If you learnt to let them be, then don't ask what to do with then... Just let them be...

First of all, good, most of us aren't too fond of you after that moronic remark towards SE / sorry attempt to make cool with everyone here. That was low. I think you not getting kicked for that was more than enough, don't start pushing your luck by asking us to motivate you. You were given answers and continued to whine that people were being rude when they weren't.

[some] people w/ dreads may be down to earth and chill, but it also seems we're not too cool with an idiot romping around demanding respect after attacking another member, one who doesn't even post here any more.

best advice I ever got regarding my dreads from a black guy at the bitter end in SF:

"let them hang"

other than that, christ kid. bandanas, tams, ponytails, beanies. dorags... get creative and quit creating threads just so you can post pictures of yourself. make a photo album.
