So I was planning on living with one of my good friends and her old roomie in the fall, but her roomie(I'll call her Jane) decided to tell her new roomie to move in, because she likes her soooo much.At first I wasn't sure I wanted to get one, because I didn't know if I as gonna go to school in the fall and the whole situation with my bf moving back home.Since that happened though, I decided that I'd just live in Boston either way and just work full time for a semester. Anyway, the other day my friend told me that Jane called telling her that she and her roomie decided she'd move in without even talking to my friend about it.My friend doesn't even know this girl.Theres room for one more person but that would mean not having a living room. For three people that's $640 or something a month. It sucks because now Idk what I'm doing for the fall and who I'm gonna live with.I sure as hell am not living in student housing, that's for sure! One of my friends craigslisted apartments and moved in with random people, but they're all really cool.I can do that, or find another person or two looking for apartments. :/
is that 640 a piece or all together??? I wouldnt go with some one off of craigslist.... your friend prbly got lucky and im not saying you wouldnt if you did it butttttttttt theres some weird mother fuckers out there.... unless you can get along with evvvvvvverrrrrryyyyyyyooone im sure you will be able to find someone..... Ive never lived in student housing but always heard bad things from the school I went to
No it's around that price for each person.I wish it was that all together! She has an open spot at her place but someone else might be moving in.If not, I'll definitely talk to her about it, because she's one person I could definitely live with.So I guess that's another option.
finding an apartment sucks...i started looking around last november and started with like 8 people looking for an old house to rent and a bunch of bullshit kept happened and eventually me and my good friend just got sick of it and go a 2 room apt lol...i thought about going the craigslist way to but i dont know if id like living with people i didnt know at all. i think if you can find 1 or 2 good friends that would be the best way to go and probably cheaper too
Hot shit thats alot of money. Are these like super luxury apts or something? We're moving to the country. 425 a month on 3.3 acres with a pond. Only pay electricity. My rent will be 200 a month. SCORE!!!
I'm not worried about finding an apartment because people have found some within a weekI guess I'll have to ask around.I got an offer but Idk I wanna live with that person because she likes to mouch haha. $8 but I wanna work at Trader Joes which is $10 Yeah Boston is really expensive sometimes. So the more roomies you can find, the better.Four is pretty ideal.
Jeez, that fuckin sucks! Look up apartments on Craigslist! Or if all else fails, I guess just wait around for something to come up.. like an extra room in an apartment of friends you know.
Good luck! im still living in student housing bc I dont want the hassle of having to find an apt in a city I wont be in much longer.
