post your greatest personal achievement. not the greatest achievement from the view of your peers, but from from your own standard. what are you proud of yourself for?
i haven't reached my greatest achievement. but to comply with the thread, i'd say my bicycling across the country. that trip built the foundation that i now live off of
Wow. You set the bar pretty damn high. and just exactly how do you plan topping a cross country trek on a bicycle?
the biking wasn't the hard part...i think anyone can do it if they have the desire to. the biggest achievement for me was starting the process of dealign with my demons and starting to find out who i am. i took a deep look into who i was. how am i going to top it...i don't know i do know that everything changes, and i'm young....so i'm prettys sure i'll find a way to top it one way or another...Mt. Everest anyone?
thats truly noble. Life enhancement has to start somewhere, and thats one hell of a way to start. Everest? Fuck me. I get winded just by riding the escalator at the mall.
Probably getting myself on track of life and finding out what I truly wanna do with myself after I finish college.
may sound lame to some, but it would be going from the ultimate party gal to a great stay at home mommy!
Okay, my measure for this has changed MANY times once, it was that I gamed, seventy two hours straight, beating the entire super mario brothers series, all of the zelda games through link to the past (this includes the portable incarnations of both) and collecting all 150 pokemon. once, it was that I ran drocknar's forge with an e\r (elementalist/ranger) and once it was that I made a beautiful tree of crystalized sugar with crystalized drops of fruit juice on it's branches now, I dunno what it'd be. oh, also, hot patching a 2.4 kilowatt dimmer with a paperclip.... that's on the list.
I think the first one trumps all your other achievements, and don't pretend like you don't know that.
