i have headaches atleast 3 or 4 times a week, usually in a range from 5-6, or the random ones that are 10's that vary in intensity for days and i can't even get up they hurt so badly.
at school, i had really bad migraines. i had to take Imitrex to sort them out. it worked well, but i was totally useless if i took the medication. classes or practice were out of the question. when i figured out what my triggers were, i was able to avoid them for the most part and slowly back off the medication i needed. It sucked at school because one of my main triggers was the type of lighting they were using - sensory overload.
after seizures, 10. other headaches don't matter, so I don't really pay attention to them and there are grades of migraine there is your basic pedestrian migraine then there are cluster migraines. if regular migraines are a 10 on your scale, cluster migraines are probably about a 17, post seizure migraines, about a 12-13. I am very happy I don't have cluster migraines.
I'm glad I don't have those kinds of migraines, Dave, but I also wish I didn't have mine, either. Headaches run in my family, my mom had them every day at my age too...I hope it stops like hers did. I imagine they are hormone related. Come and get me, menopause!
