do i have to speak in juvenile court?

    i have to go to court june 3rd of next week (we're trying to get it pushed back because i have exams that day), and i am wondering if i have to speak to the magistrate. he's a real dick, and he twists your words so i think it would be better if i didn't say anything, which i don't know if you're allowed to do.
    btw, i don't have a lawyer because the charge is a probation violation.

    All my probation violations I never had to go to court for. Well all I did was fail piss tests. But if you have to go to court you'll probably have to talk.

    I would want to be able to talk... i'd talk to your lawyer first, but that's your one chance to convince the judge, or whatever he is, that you arn't a complete fuck up. I spent like 3 days thinking about what to say to the judge before i was released from county, I did talk to my lawyer though...
